FARGO — East Central District Court in Fargo is now offering a Veterans Treatment Court, similar to the one in Grand Forks. It is a chance for men and women who have served in the military to be mentored and supervised as they go through a special court expected to improve treatment and reduce the chance of people re-offending. District Court Judge Connie Cleveland said she knows what it's like to witness people standing in court because of a moment or time in their life they often want to forget. But for the last two years, Cleveland and a team in Cass County, including Judge Stephanie Hayden, have been working tirelessly to bring a Veterans Treatment Court to Fargo.
